1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to the T2T4KatanaGo mobile application, tone-generation API, and related support and legal pages. T2T4KatanaGo, operated by Luis Carmenate, is the controller of information processed for these services, except where a third party acts independently under its own privacy terms.
2. Information we process
Account and authentication information
When you continue with Apple or Google, we receive an account identifier and information the provider makes available, which may include your email address, name, and profile information. Authentication and account records are handled through Supabase.
Subscription information
We process your app user identifier, subscription product, entitlement status, purchase and renewal timestamps, trial status, store, country, and related transaction metadata through RevenueCat, Apple, and Google. We do not receive or store your full payment-card details.
Tone requests and generated content
We process the natural-language prompt you submit and the resulting amp, effect, signal-chain, and liveset data to generate and deliver your tone. A copy of your latest preset may remain on your device until you replace it, clear app data, or uninstall the app. That local preset includes the original request used to create it. Your authenticated session is also stored locally so the app can keep you signed in. Generated liveset files may remain on the generation server after delivery until operational cleanup. Account deletion does not automatically remove standalone generated files that are no longer linked to an account. Do not place sensitive personal information in a tone prompt.
Technical and support information
Our service providers may process basic device, app version, operating system, network, error, and diagnostic information needed to provide purchases, authentication, security, and support. If you contact us, we process your message, contact details, and information needed to resolve the request.
3. How we use information
- authenticate you and maintain your account;
- verify, restore, and manage subscription access;
- generate, validate, and deliver tone configurations and liveset files;
- operate, secure, debug, and prevent abuse of the service;
- respond to support, privacy, and account-deletion requests;
- comply with legal, tax, accounting, and app-store obligations; and
- maintain and improve service reliability when resolving operational issues.
We do not sell personal information and we do not use the app to serve third-party advertising.
4. Service providers
We use specialized providers to operate the service:
- Supabase for authentication and account infrastructure;
- RevenueCat for subscription status and entitlement management;
- Apple and Google for authentication, app distribution, purchases, and billing;
- OpenAI to process tone prompts and return structured tone suggestions; and
- Expo for app build infrastructure; and
- our API and website hosting providers for service delivery, infrastructure, and operational logs.
Tone-generation requests to OpenAI are configured with response storage disabled. OpenAI may still retain limited abuse-monitoring logs for up to 30 days unless a different retention control applies to the account. Other providers may also process limited security or operational records according to their own terms and privacy policies. We share only the information reasonably necessary for the provider's function.
5. Legal bases
Depending on where you live, we process information to perform our contract with you, with your consent, to comply with legal obligations, and for legitimate interests such as securing, supporting, and improving the service. You may withdraw consent where consent is the applicable basis, without affecting earlier lawful processing.
6. Retention
Account and subscription records are generally retained while your account is active and for the period needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and satisfy legal or accounting requirements. OpenAI abuse-monitoring logs may be retained for up to 30 days as described above. Generated liveset files may remain on the generation server until operational cleanup; we are working to formalize a shorter automatic deletion schedule. Support correspondence may be retained until the request is resolved and for a reasonable follow-up period.
7. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including provider-based authentication, encrypted network connections for production services, and server-side subscription verification. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
8. International processing
Our providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Where required, transfers are handled using recognized legal safeguards or other lawful transfer mechanisms.
9. Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of personal information, receive a portable copy, or appeal a privacy decision. You may manage store subscriptions independently through Apple or Google. To exercise a privacy right, contact us using the address below. We may verify your identity before completing a request.
10. Account deletion
You may request deletion of your T2T4KatanaGo account and associated app data through our Delete Account page. Deletion does not cancel a subscription or erase transaction records independently maintained by Apple, Google, or other providers for legal and billing purposes.
11. Children's privacy
T2T4KatanaGo is not directed to children under 13 or the minimum digital-consent age in their jurisdiction. If you believe a child provided personal information without appropriate consent, contact us so we can investigate and delete it when required.
12. Changes and contact
