Is the app available to download?
Yes! T2T4KatanaGo is available for iOS. Download it on the App Store.
How do I get a preset onto my Katana:GO?
The app exports a .tsl liveset that you save to your device and import using BOSS TONE STUDIO for Katana:GO. The app does not transfer presets directly to your hardware.
Can I edit the generated tone in the app?
The app displays the settings generated by AI; it does not let you modify them. To request a different sound, write a new description and generate another tone.
How do I create an account?
Continue with Apple or Google, or create an account with email and password and verify your email with a code. Password recovery is available from the sign-in screen.
Can I use my account on another device?
You can sign in on another device. Only one app session can be active at a time; confirming access on the new device ends the previous session. Guitar profiles remain local to each device.
Do I need a subscription?
Generation and export require Premium access. View the available plans in the app, restore an existing purchase, or manage your subscription from the account screen. Daily generation limits apply and reset each day; the app tells you when you have reached the limit.
Does the app measure my guitar’s sound?
No. Pickup information provides context for AI suggestions. The app does not process guitar audio, measure pickup output, or guarantee an exact match to a recording.
What happens if generation is interrupted?
The app checks the existing request when you return. If it cannot recover after a limited number of attempts, it shows Retry in the error message so you can try again.
Is this an official BOSS app?
No. T2T4KatanaGo is an independent product and is not affiliated with or endorsed by BOSS or Roland Corporation.
